Kasia T. Howard is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is a U.S. Army Veteran, with her last duty station being Fort Bragg, North Carolina. After receiving an honorable discharge from the military, she decided to remain in Fayetteville, NC.
Kasia is currently the Salon Manager of T. Renee Salon & Spa in Fayetteville, NC. Her business suite, BrowSkinLash, is located inside of the salon. There she serves as a licensed Esthetician and licensed Natural Hair Care Specialist. She is a certified Acne Specialist, trained and certified through Face Reality Skincare. She also serves as a Hair Loss Practitioner with certifications from the United States Trichology Institute and the American Medical Certification Association. She is currently pursuing her BA at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC.
Having spent years as an acne sufferer, Kasia has personally seen the emotional, psychological, and social affects that this skin disorder can have on a person. It is because of this personal experience that she places an intimate focus on two groups of people: those who are suffering from acne, and those experiencing alopecia. Many times, those dealing with these disorders do not realize that there are procedures and products at the para-medical level that can vastly improve their condition.
As the sole Esthetician working inside of the salon, Kasia sees clients with vastly different skin types, conditions, and needs. She performs many esthetic procedures to include facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, extractions, hair removal, and makeup application. As a Hair Loss Practitioner, she performs comprehensive consultations, scalp scoping and analysis, as well as low level laser, LED, and high frequency therapy. She provides natural hair care services such as loc maintenance, re-twists, detox, conditioning/repair treatments, micromist steam therapy, twist-outs, and other natural hair styling. Many times, Kasia is requested by cosmetologists within the salon to consult with their clients who have indications of various forms of alopecia and scalp conditions. She opens the salon to the public, hosting educational classes on skin care, acne care, makeup application, hair restoration, and natural hair care.
Kasia takes pride in what she does. She desires for those under her care at BrowSkinLash to realize hope and to have their esteem renewed. She empowers her clients through education and setting of realistic goals. She is a forever learner. As products and procedures are introduced, she takes continued education courses, and reads spa and medical journals to stay abreast of new technologies. She often says, “seeing clients getting results is the reward in itself”. She is proud to be a part of a profession that makes lasting, positive differences in the lives of people everyday.
